These Fellows participate in a collaboration between ASME and mechanical engineering departments that encourage outstanding doctoral candidates—particularly women and minorities—to pursue careers as ME educators.
ASME currently offers two fellowship programs to engineers seeking to advance ASME’s mission through involvement in government service and education.
Federal Government Fellows
Federal Fellows provide technical expertise to policymakers in the U.S. Congress, the White House, and federal agencies, advising on legislation and policy relating to energy, manufacturing, infrastructure, and technology, among other topics.
